چکیده
This paper presents the 3D reconstruction of planar objects using the normal vector of plane and vanishing points from a single panoramic image. We get the geometric information of plane or line with feature points which use the constraints of coplanarity, perpendicularity and parallelism of planes or lines. We describe the 3D reconstruction about any features using the properties of vanishing points and several constraints like a coplanarity, perpendicularity and parallelism in planes and lines even though it may not extract the intersection point. When the panoramic camera located on ground in perpendicular, all vertical lines are converged into center point in image. However, horizontal line with ground plane projected as the curve on the basis of each vanishing point in image; the parallel lines with ground are projected as the curve in panoramic image. In order to get 3D information of line, we find out the parallel plane in focal point of mirror using the already known the height of mirror from the ground. We call the plane as the plane at infinity. Plane at infinity is projected as the circle at infinity in image which has the vanishing points on his area. Using this proposed method, we analyze the results from corridor or indoor environments; we also apply the hyperboloidal mirror to get panoramic image and perform the 3D reconstruction.

متن کاملStochastic reconstruction of carbon fiber paper gas diffusion layers of PEFCs: A comparative study
A 3D microstructure of the non-woven gas diffusion layers (GDLs) of polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs) is reconstructed using a stochastic method. For a commercial GDL, due to the planar orientation of the fibers in the GDL, 2D SEM image of the GDL surface is used to estimate the orientation of the carbon fibers in the domain. Two more microstructures with different fiber orientations are g...
متن کاملDetection of Vanishing Points Using Hough Transform for Single View 3D Reconstruction
Single View Reconstruction (SVR) is a technique to reconstruct three-dimensional scenes or objects of interest from a single image. Unlike traditional (multi-view) close-range photogrammetry, SVR does not require camera parameters for obtaining 3D coordinates of the targets. A common approach for SVR is to establish the 3D metrology based on vanishing points from a single image with perspective...
متن کاملA Method for 3D Reconstruction of Piecewise Planar Objects from Single Panoramic Images
We present an approach for 3D reconstruction of objects from a single panoramic image. Obviously, constraints on the 3D structure are needed to perform this task. Our approach is based on user-provided coplanarity, perpendicularity and parallelism constraints. The method is described in detail for the case of a parabolic mirror-based omnidirectional sensor and results are provided.

A computer vision method is proposed to determine all the visible 3D planar surfaces in a scene from uncalibrated images and locate them in a single 3D projective space. Most of the existing methods for reconstructing planar objects use point correspondences to estimate the fundamental matrix and derive the compatible projection equations, before they apply the standard triangulation technique ...
